About KALM Living
KALM Living was founded by Amerigo Rossi, EdD, MPH, FACSM, and Mónica Ortiz Rossi, MFA, MPH, PhD Candidate, to help organizations design, evaluate, and strengthen programs that improve health and well-being. Together, they bring more than 30 years of combined experience in public health, healthcare workforce development, community engagement, education, research, and program evaluation.Amerigo is an Associate Professor and Program Director at New York Institute of Technology whose work focuses on physical activity, chronic disease prevention, diabetes management, healthcare workforce development, and program evaluation. Mónica is a public health practitioner, educator, artist, and community engagement specialist with extensive experience leading health promotion initiatives in partnership with the New York City Departments of Health and Education and community-based organizations.KALM Living combines scientific rigor with community-centered practice to support healthcare organizations, universities, nonprofits, and public agencies. Our approach integrates research, evaluation, education, and stakeholder engagement to help clients demonstrate impact, strengthen programs, secure funding, and create sustainable improvements in health and quality of life.We believe that meaningful change occurs when evidence-based practice, community wisdom, and human connection work together.
